On behalf of the Murphy School Parent Council, we would like to welcome back our students in addition to our new students and parents to Murphy School! You have become members of a very special family. Murphy School is a unique place where students, faculty and staff work together to further students’ education, personal growth and success.
Parents also play a key role in this special learning community and, like, in Murphy School’s overall growth and success. Recognizing this importance, the Parent Council represents parents of the school and provides parents with a means to share observations, suggestions or concerns about programs and opportunities.
We also encourage parents to stay connected with Murphy School happenings and special events. You can do this by attending one of our meetings held each month, the second Wednesday of each month. You can also stay connected by “liking us” on Facebook, Murphy School Parent Council-Weymouth MA. Finally, minutes from each meeting will be available on the School’s website under “Parent Council”. Parent Council fundraisers provide a very important source of funding to the school for improving and maintaining the quality programs and facilities enjoyed by our students.
